Week 3 day 2

 Yesterday was a very very very slow day. I felt overall tired and was a bit nervous that I was going to have time to finish the senior project paper. My workout to be honest was cut just a wee bit short. I did biceps and abs first which is a change because I usually get those done at the end of my lifts. Another change was a two mile run after these lifts up to Winslow park. I was so out of breath and was honestly suprised I made it that far. Overall for today’s workout was a 8/10.

Week 3 day 1

 Monday was a bit of a slower day, I did my cardio and abs as usual. I at rice and chicken and lunch followed by some flying goose Caesar wraps. I had a big back workout today. I had a deadlift day which I actually never do. It felt good for the amount of sets and I did a lot more weight I was going to. It reminded me of legs that one day about a week ago. My breakfast oatmeal and eggs which was very good fuel for my morning workout. Abs today my neck hurt very bad and I struggled to get through it. Overall for the workout today is a 7.5/10.

Week 2 Reflection

 Ok let’s get first things first my body has improved tremendously, however I can’t find good snacks to eat. I have been trying Procuitto and it’s gross but I still eat it. Any type of chips are a no go. I guess crackers and cliff bars are good but two months of those and it gets boring. My main struggle is watching people eat bomb food while I chew on some gross salad wrap it’s very hard to maintain my drive. Body wise I’m better than ever. My abs are slowly maturing to a state where I can see them not flexing and my arm veins are around two weeks from connecting to my shoulder veins. The strange thing is that I am not skinny just much more lean. I’ve been doing a ton of cardio and abs which have been helping my overall fitness level. Stretches do need work yet I haven’t pulled something too bad yet, knock on wood. The one struggle I have had is food yet I am figuring out short cuts. Week 2 day 5

 Today was back triceps and shoulder plus my usual biceps and abs. Today was a struggle but I lifted without a shirt and it was good seeing my so called “gains”. Triceps I struggle with pretty much every-time I do them. I did three lifts for this pull downs, dips and skull crushers. Back is also a struggle for me so you can probably guess my daily rating. I pushed through the four back workouts but oh boy was it hard. After these I was almost hunch back I was so tired hahahah. Now time for biceps ugh. I hit my usual three lift and instead of hoping right into my ab video I did leg lifts for a bit. I used to love doing these but I slowed down for a bit but they burn so much. Today’s overall rating would be a surprising 9/10 because it felt really good to push through.

Week 2 day 4

 I wanted to hit legs today... change of plans I hit chest. It felt good hitting chest because I hadn’t had a big chest week in a while. Quick chest right into abs which was a change of pace. This I decided to do because the abs have been taking a toll on my neck and I wanted a fresh neck so I could get the best out of abs. After abs I hit biceps which as I have said I do everyday. These biceps were very hard because I was dead after abs and chest. I began going very slow and it gives me a much much much better overall workout. After I broke my diet which I was pissed about and I broke down and ate bread not only but also a damn quesadilla. I was pissed but this was one of the first times in around a month so it’s not terrible. Today overall rating 7/10 because I broke my diet.

Week 2 day 3

 Today was packed, I had two workouts today. To start off the day I hit arms and abs. I then helped my mom with moving some things around before heading back down for my second workout. My second workout was chest and I started with cable flys. I benched and then thought why not do triceps too. I did dips pull downs and over head pulls for biceps. Although very hard I didn’t use preworkout so it was very hard to fully get into it. I ate steak rice and asparagus for dinner. I also had a protein shake and my vitamins which I make a priority every day. Today’s rate is a 8/10.

Day 2 week 2

 Today was a tricep, bicep, and ab day. I did not do as much cardio as I wanted to today however I ate very good so far. I say so far because snacking at night is my downfall. I began with a super set of dips, pull downs and seated dips. This was then followed up by two over head push bicep workouts. I then shot right into biceps which I mentioned I do everyday. My biceps consist of three sets of seated hammer curls, then three sets of twist curls, then three sets of standing curls. After these I finish biceps everyday with a superset of focus curls and two ab workouts and a minute jump rope repeated three times. After this a minute to five minute rest before my main ab workout called 8 min abs. I’ve lost a big or weight I am now a comfortable 183. Overall for today is a 9.5/10 I felt great in there today👍🏻.

Day 1 week 2

 Today I began with a bit of cardio and jump ropes while me and drew spoke about our weekends. I had an eventful weekend so this conversation and portion of our workout lasted longer than it usually does. We then moved right into arms and a little bit of chest and I did a few sets of dips also. These arms are very hard yet I push through them everyday. I do a superset workout on the last arm workout that involves my abs. Three sets of this superset need to be done fast before my 8 minute ab workout. After this I took a break and drove up to the house. Our second workout I did the peloton which u usually don’t do and I hit a bench max and did a few ab workouts after. Upon the second lift ending I had some time to hit pleasant lake and fish a bit. I caught nothing but the sunset was cool overall for today is a 9/10.

Weekly reflection

 Wow, I had no clue I could truly better myself this much. My meal plan has been good but it’s been hard getting enough calories. My stretches need a tiny bit of improvement but hopefully my advisor can help me with that. Cardio has been very affective for my cutting. Me and drew have a good chemistry in the gym. Switching off workouts leaves room for short breaks in the gym which are much needed. Abs are a huge struggle and I honestly hate having to get down and do them everyday. Abs are a great thing to have but oh boy do they come at a cost. Hard work and determination, I want three wheels by July 29 which is my birthday. This week as an overall 9/10 I had two of the best lifts of my life. Thanks Kelly for letting me do this senior project.

Day 5

Hard day after legs... I hit chest today and a superset of biceps. Good pump and I’m seeing new veins and muscle definition I haven’t seen before. I am forgetting to drink water which is making me very light headed through my workouts. Tomorrow this is my goal one along side a few more ab workouts I’d like to try out. My bicep workouts have been so good especially because I’ve been doing them everyday. Legs was a bad idea hahahha not seriously but it was extremely hard. My stretching program has proven itself helpful through my workouts and it helps me a ton during my jump ropes. Not cramps today. Overall rating 7.5/10

Day 4

 Today was the hardest day for me. I never do legs and sadly today was the day to get back into it. I actually surprised myself with how much I could put up. I did 5 sets of 185 for 8-10 reps mixed with five over workouts. I did calves I did the whole shebang! Very exciting day and I made myself proud and pushed through even tho how much I hated it. Not to mention the fact I say my favorite person on campus KGB. Also the best advisor... bjt back to my dad I finished it off with abs and a burrito for dinner. I’m exited to hit chest hard tomorrow! Overall for today has to be a 9.5/10.

Day 3

 Today was packed! We hit cardio for fifteen at around 11 am before shooting into curls. We had at least five workouts of four sets each for curls. I have quit most carbs from my diet at this point. Working hard in and out of the gym has proved very helpful when cutting weight. I went back to the house for a quick lunch before shooting back down to the gym. At the gym I did a peloton ride for around 7 miles fast. After the fifteen-twenty minute ride we hit our second set of abs of the day. The abs were so hard but we got through three workouts. Day three rating would have to be a 8.5/10. Tomorrow is legs...

Day 2

 Today was a long workout that was started with thirty minutes of jump rope mixed with a 9 mph sprint. After our cardio we moved onto the chest which consisted of benching, cable flys, and close grip bench. We then had triceps which was four workouts which really finished our arms off after a long bicep day yesterday. Upon completing triceps we went straight into abs which was grueling and demanding. Drew will have a few videos on his blog of our workouts. Overall rating of today had to be a 7/10 due to how hard it was. My favorites workout today was benching for sure as always hahahaha.

Day 1

 Today we had a great shoulder biceps and abs day. Starting with a 6 minute jump rope and then heading directly in a large shoulder circuit. I am in a calorie deficit trying to cut and obtain a bit less body fat. After shoulders I did a bicep circuit of three workouts and intricate abs in along side them. When getting back to the house after an 8 minute ab workout we at beef stew. Today’s day rating I would have to give about an 9/10 although I was a bit stressed overall today.
